Is the member app included with my MyStudio plan?
Yes. MyStudio's membership app for studios is included with all plans: Starter, Growth, and Scale. Your members download it from the App Store or Google Play and log in with their MyStudio account. If you want the app published under your school's own name and brand identity, that's available as the Branded Mobile App add-on.
What's the difference between the included app and the Branded Mobile App add-on?
The included member app is branded as MyStudio, so members see MyStudio in the App Store and when they open the app. The Branded Mobile App add-on publishes a fully white-label version under your school's name, icon, and brand identity, so members download Tiger Martial Arts or Code Academy instead of MyStudio. Same features, different brand.
Do members need to create a separate account to use the app?
No. Members log in with the same credentials used when they enrolled, no separate account creation required. Their schedule, progress, billing, and communication are all already populated the moment they log in for the first time.
Can I push announcements and messages through the app?
Yes. From your MyStudio management dashboard, you can send push notifications to all members, to specific programs or classes, or to individual members. Messages appear as push notifications on their phone and inside the app's message center. Open rates are significantly higher than email for most schools.
Can parents use the app to manage their child's account?
Yes. Parents have their own app access linked to their child's account. They can view their child's schedule, progress, and billing, receive notifications about attendance and upcoming tests, and communicate with the school directly through the app. Students have their own login with age-appropriate access to their own progress and schedule.
