Why Century Chose MyStudio to Build Century Direct
MyStudio is the exclusive technology partner behind Century Direct, Century Martial Arts' drop-shipping platform. Two companies built by martial artists, five years in — and what it means for studio owners.

A five-year partnership between two companies built by martial artists.
Century Martial Arts was founded in 1976 by Mike Dillard, a national karate champion, in an Oklahoma City garage. Today, Century is the world's largest wholesale supplier of martial arts equipment.
MyStudio was founded by Tu and Linnette Le — a taekwondo instructor and a taekwondo student, both studio owners. Together they scaled five InCourage Martial Arts locations to an average of $1M each, and built the platform now used by 2,000+ studios worldwide.
In 2020, Century selected MyStudio as the exclusive technology partner for Century Direct.
What we built together
Century Direct is Century's drop-shipping platform at centurydirect.com — access to the Century catalog, shipped directly from Century to the customer. MyStudio developed the platform and continues to maintain it. It's available through the MyStudio marketplace.
For studio owners, that means selling from the Century catalog without carrying inventory. A parent asks about a uniform in a size you don't stock. You ring it up in your POS. It ships from Century to the family.
Why it works
Century's customers are studio owners. So are MyStudio's. Both companies were founded and are run by martial artists. That common ground is why the partnership has held for five years, and why Century Direct is one of several ways the two companies work together.
What it means for studio owners
- Access to the Century catalog through your POS, drop-shipped from Century
- A partnership between two companies built specifically for martial arts studios
- Ongoing investment in tools designed for how martial arts studios operate
