MyStudio Operations Summit Recap 2025: Key Lessons & New Features

The final MyStudio Operations Summit of the year brought nearly 40 studio owners together for two days of hands-on learning, insider access to InCourage’s multi-location success model, and deep-dive sessions with MyStudio leadership. From calculating customer lifetime value to optimizing physical spaces and websites for your ideal audience, attendees walked away with actionable strategies they can use immediately. Plus, they were the first to experience MyStudio’s latest innovations — Amplify AI, WebsitePro, and an exclusive preview of MyStudio v2 — all designed to help studios automate, scale, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

We recently wrapped our last Operations Summit of the year, and my first one as an employee at MyStudio. My biggest take-away (or question): How do we continue to get more and more customers (and prospects) at this event?

The Day Before

This time, we added two events prior to the main event, both at the studio behind MyStudio: InCourage Martial Arts. A select number of customers opted to visit us the day before the full-day summit, visiting  the InCourage Broadlands location and the InCourage in Burke - our flagship InCourage studio. Here’s what those attendees got to experience:

  • Participation in daily instructor training, to see how InCourage approaches instructor development, class planning, business, and marketing strategies
  • A guided facilities tour & management systems overview, where customers were matched with an InCourage staff member, toured the facility, joined their team meeting, and got an inside look at their management systems.
  • An inside look at after school programs, to understand scheduling, flow, and student engagement strategies
  • An evening tour of InCourage’s flagship location in Burke, where we walked through the layout of the studio (and how to optimize space, attract new families, design your lobby, and greet your students), observed student check-in and after care class flow, all the way into evening classes.

Full-Day Summit

On Friday, in a room with nearly 40 customers and MyStudio staff, we learned, shared success stories, solved real-world business problems, and learned a lot more.

Tu Le, our co-founder and CEO, brought his personal story and business experience to the Summit. Tu built, managed, and scaled five thriving Martial Arts studio locations, each achieving over $1.1M in revenue with a 30% net profit. Oh, and all of them have at least 300 5.0 star reviews on Google!

Here are some of the key things our attendees learned at the summit:

  • How to leverage core features within the MyStudio platform, like Attendance Management, to drive real results, to save time, and to improve the customer experience.
  • How to calculate the lifetime value (LTV) of your customers and the cost of acquiring new customers (CAC), and why both are important. As Tu said, it doesn’t matter how many leads you get if they don’t convert to trials, and it doesn’t matter how many trials you get if they don’t convert to customers.
  • How to evaluate your physical studio space and your website, to ensure that they speak to your ideal customer profile (ICP). For example, is your target student a child or an adult? If the former, you probably shouldn’t have images of sultry-looking adults on your website.

And here’s where the audience was blown away: When Tu walked through — and introduced — our newest products and features.

  • Our sales automation tool, Amplify AI, which follows up with your leads 24/7 (literally while you’re sleeping) and converts 5x leads to trials. We all tested it in the room — one customer conversed with Amplify in Spanish!
  • Our fully loaded, customizable Website that sells for you: WebsitePro was the answer to the room’s website woes. It comes with built-in Amplify AI, SEO optimization to start, and sets your brand apart (your blog and content, your images and visuals — across all your locations).
  • Our upgraded platform, v2, which will fully launch in the first half of 2026. Customers got a close look at the improved UI, new & improved features, and exciting new resources coming soon.

Hear from a customer who spent two full days with us and really tested our Amplify AI solution (in Spanish)!

That’s a Wrap

MyStudio customers and employees left the summit feeling inspired and confident. I think we all wished we had more time to teach, learn, engage, and share experiences. With any evolving technology, the need for education (and inspiration) is continuous, and it is our mission to provide more content and guidance to our customers — in-person and virtually.

There’s more to come in 2026, so stay tuned.
